Family

What does the word family mean to you? What memory do you think of when you say, "family?" You may say anything you want for these answers, but I would say that the word family means: people that love you VERY much and you know it, people that you can confide in and trust. As well as people that you may cry on their shoulder and best of all be your best friend if you don't have one.
This week I lost three relatives: First my second cousin died of cancer way too early in her life. Then my great Uncle Jim died 30 min. later of heart failure and Alzheimer's, while we were having his funeral my great Aunt Carol died. Can you imagine the pain the family went through but the best thing of all was they were together.
There is also not just the families that usually consist of parent and children. I am talking about the spiritual family; God is our "daddy" and we are his children! But if we are his children why don't we come running to him when we are hurt or in pain? Why do we not bring our problems to him if He is our spiritual 'Daddy'!?!?
